I received an e-mail from service@paypal.us telling me there was an issue with my account. It would be set at limited access until I log in and provide additional account verification. They provided a link to where I needed to go.(Wasn't that nice of them?)
I recently had my wallet stolen and I was afraid that perhaps the person had gotten to my paypal account!
So, I went to the resolution center at paypal and entered the case # they provided in the e-mail. It told me the number was not existing case #. 
Luckily.  I knew better than to click the link provided in the e-mail. I went to paypal myself by entering www.paypal.com into the browser,

THE BIKER I saw you, hug your purse closer to you in the grocery
store line. But, you didn't see me, put an extra $10.00 in the
collection plate last Sunday. I saw you, pull your child closer
when we passed each other on the sidewalk. But, you didn't see me,
playing Santa at the local mall. I saw you, change your mind
about going into the restaurant. But, you didn't see me, attending
a meeting to raise more money for the hurricane relief. I saw
you, roll up your window and shake your head when I rode by. But,
you didn't see me, riding behind you when you flicked your
cigarette butt out the car window. I saw you, frown at me when I
smiled at your children. But, you didn't see me, when I took time
off from work to run toys to the homeless. I saw you, stare at my
long hair. But, you didn't see me, and my friends cut ten inches
off for Locks of Love. I saw you, roll your eyes at our leather
jackets and gloves. But, you didn't see me, and my brothers donate
our old ones to those that had none. I saw you, look in fright at
my tattoos. But, you didn't see me, cry as my children were born
and have their name written over and in my heart. I saw you,
change lanes while rushing off to go somewhere. But, you didn't

my child's hands, knowing he was safe behind me. I saw you,
reading the newspaper or map as you drove down the road. But, you
didn't see me, squeeze my wife's leg when she told me to take the
next turn. I saw you, race down the road in the rain. But, you
didn't see me, get soaked to the skin so my son could have the car
to go on his date. I saw you, run the yellow light just to save a
few minutes of time. But, you didn't see me, trying to turn
right. I saw you, cut me off because you needed to be in the lane

Of course we have all been hungry before, but it could never compare to the hunger some people feel on a daily basis. When there is not enough food to feed the people, they go hunger. it is a problem across the world. Someone you know went to bed hungry. A family has shared there last can of food. There will be no more food for days. A village has lost their crops due to drought or flood and there will not be enough food to feed the villagers through the year. BUT YOU can help! There aremany ways to help food the hungry! One way is freerice.com The site will give you a word. You must pick the meaning from 4 choices. If you get it right the next word is a bit harder. If you get it wrong it is easier. A right answer earns 20 grains of rice. This means even the younger kids can play and donate rice! The rice comes from The World Food Programme. You may also donate a 25kilo sack of rice for only US$8.25 if you want to do that. So far I have donate over 3300 grains of rice just by choosing the right meaning to words.

Have you ever thought about how the hospital or other emergency personnel will contact your next of kin in an emergency? Of course we all know to have a list of emergency contacts in our wallets or purse. I have another way to have that info available to someone who may need it. In your cell phone's phonebook, enter ICE (In Case of Emergency) then the persons name and number. For more than one contact number you could enter ICE1, ICE2 ICE3,etc. This is one way to let the emergency personnel get in touch with your family for emergency when you may not be able to tell them who you are or other vital info. This should not replace a list that is kept with your drivers license or other photo ID's. This will however give you a bit of peace of mind knowing that they have another possible way to let your loved ones know if you have been in an accident. There has been a rumor circulating that there is a text message virus that searches for "ICE" or "I.C.E." in a cells phone book then charges you for the text or eats up your prepaid minutes. There is NO THREAT to you or your phone from adding ICE to your contacts I have had the ICE in the last two phones I have had. One pre-paid and one a contract phone and with niether did I have any problem.

This is a virus ! It is real, and not a hoax! Check it yourself here: http://www.snopes.com/computer/virus/zafi.asp The subject line of the e-mail will be "Merry Christmas" and will be from someone on your e-mail contact list. The message will have the words "Happy Hollydays" printed in green text and separated by a yellow emoticon.
Here is a clip from snopes:
"(The message was signed with any one of a number of names, including "Jaime" and "Anne McGee.")
The attachment (with a .ZIP file extension), when executed, delivered worm code that infected Microsoft Windows systems and replicated by sending itself to e-mail addresses harvested from the infected computer's address book" This is a real threat, so be on the look-out. If you get an e-mail from a contact with "Merry Christmas" in the subject, e-mail the person and ASK if they sent it. Better safe than sorry!! I hope you will pass this info along to your friends and family. No one wants to get a worm for Christmas!

I just wanted to send out a warning to my fellow RFN members. I recieved this e-mail and although I was SURE it was a scam, I was worried by the last paragraph enough that I did some searching and a lot of worrying. Here is the e-mail I recieved:

This is to officially inform you that it has come to our notice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation ( FBI
), that the sum of $8.3 Million U.S Dollars is contained here in the
United States Of America in your name. That is why we have decided to
contact you directly to acquire the proper verifications and proof from
you to show that you are the rightful person to receive this fund,
because the above mentioned amount is a huge amount of money, that is

I was so close to responding, but knew to check it out first, and NOT from a link with-in the e-mail. I know there are many out there who would just respond to this to keep from going to jail. I hope no one else recieves this e-mail, but if you do, at least you will not have to worry that you will be goijng to jail!

WOW I just found all the great pictures on here!! Have you seen them. Each photo can be commented on also. I was uploading a few myself when a whole new side of RFN opened up!When you are on the profile page of someone click on the gallery and see if they have any photos. If any of them strike your fancy you can comment on them. If you click on "Galleries" on the top of most pages, (in the 'brown part' under the ad.) it will take you to all of the photos. I saw that a few of the posters were able to post comments on their own photos. i like that! Some times we have questions about the photo. The person can answer us! And... You get friendship points for adding photos! I enjoyed all the ones I saw, I'd love to see more photo,s from my friends!
