My daddy is so special. He is 75 years old and not in good health. He still tries to run everyone's lives. He is right and everyone else is wrong. (at least that is his view) I just smile and let him think or say whatever he wants. It makes him happy.

I have a lot of wonderful memories of camping with him. He and I cut a Christmas tree together when I was a small child. He loved to go fishing and boating. His face would light up when he was on the water. Now he lights up when the grandchildren and great-grandchilren come to visit.

He says his grandchildren and great-grandchilren are the Jewels of his Sunset.

Please share your memories of your father, papa, dad, or other important adult male who had or has an impact in your life.
